ANNUAL ACTIVITIES REPORT
of
Year 2016-2017 INTRODUCTION:
Integrated Tribal Shining Society (ITSS) NGO is a Non-Political, non-sectarian and non-profit making
organization dedicated to the cause of societal development.
Since inception, The I.T.S.S. has established on 20 March 2009, But, Registered under society
Act. XXI 0f 1860, Govt. of Assam, It’s having Regd. No. RS/SPR/242/D/26/10-11 on 20th June 2010 to
work for the upliftment the organization has been dedicating all its effort for the welfare of the people in
the field of Education, Health, Culture, Re-habilitation works, Vocational Training, Welfare service for the
aged restitutes. The year 2016-17, the organization conducted many programme during the year.
Speaking on the achievement of the organization, the Secretary Priya Kumar Deuri presented the
progress report in the Annual General Meeting of the Society held on 25th May 2017. We appreciated the
efforts of the members and volunteers of the organization and expressed satisfaction over the progress
to the organization.

Our Aims & Objectives are:-
To organize the people of the area fewer than one roof and thereby try to work together for development of the area in all respect.
To look after for development of all roads, land, bye-land, supply of pure drinking water, proper electrification etc. in the area.
To try education of illiteracy form amongst the people of area by establishing pre-primary, adult education and condensed course of education centre in the area from time to time.
To organize free treatment camp in the area from time to time and to organize awareness amp on AIDS, Hepatitis-B, Cancer, HIV, T.B. etc. with from such type of diseases with the help of Govt. and experienced personals.
To organize various games & sports, cultural and literacy competitions in the area amongst the locality and thereby try to encourage then in these fields.
To extent helping hand to the desirous and needy poor students for their upliftment as much as possible.
To undertake various social welfare works with the help of students of the area with a view to keeping the area neat, clean and pollution free one.
Providing economical assistant for the members, for there better economical development.
To help people of Assam by offering training programmes on Handicraft, Agriculture, Livestock Farming, Fishery etc.
To develop awareness among the people of Assam to protect wild life and thereby maintain a balance between development and nature.
To develop social forestry due to present pollution and de-forestation problems.
To support flood/ cyclone and other natural calamities that affect both human population and the wild life of the state.
To make the area pollution free by undertaking tree plantation and other pollution control measures from time to time.
To organize free medical camps for the people living below poverty line in the remote villages where medical facilities are not easily available.

Organisation Diagram:- The Organization Structure of the Integrated Tribal Shining Society (ITSS) NGO is based on a system as mentioned below:- 1. Governing Body/ Executive Committee 2. Advisory Broad Governing Body/ Executive Committee:- The Executive Committee is solemnly responsible for the management operation and mainly for successful implementation of development programmes. The Executive Committee also delegating its powers to the programme implementation committees helping for successful implementation of the development programmes of ITSS. The Governing Body of ITSS is comprises of Eleventh Executive Members nominated or selected (elected) by the General Body. Advisory Broad:- The Advisory Broad Comprise of Executive Members, ITSS programme coordinators and selected persons associated with ITSS in different projects. The Advisory Broad meeting held every month at the premises of ITSS to review the ongoing projects of ITSS and how they can be made more effective focusing of people participation and result oriented. The Advisory Broad Member keeps the right to ask for any document/explanation from ITSS programme coordinator Time to time. As soon as after the decision right to attitude for action the organization will be organized any programme for as development. Running Geographical Area of Activities: - Sonitpur District, Assam The following activities have been undertaken by ITSS during the period 2016-17. ACTIVITIES:
1. Name of the Activity : Tribal Cultural Programme Date of programme : 20th April 2016 Location : Rajabri, Gohpur No. of Participants :345 No. Resource person : Dr Sankarjyoti Kutum Description of Programme
To channelize the energy of the Assam youth towards creative tribal rural
activities and national progress the society organized One day Tribal Cultural
integration programme at the mentioned venue that time. Various village peoples
were also participated in that programme and display about their cultural and

lifestyle activities and the organisation collect the information about their any kind of problem in their living at the village. The organisation workshop cum display on dance and music has been organized at the traditional form of tribal folk songs, folk dance and Bihu Dance displayed by various artists. The resource person Mr. Banakanta Kuli encouraged the youth to organize and participate cultural events on a large scale.
2. Name of the Activity : Consumer Awareness Programme

Description of Programme
In continuation programme, The Organization has been conducted Consumer Awareness programme at Balijan Forest under Pub-Chaiduar Block of Sonitpur District. The launching of Awareness programme made the general public aware to certain extent the consciousness of consumer rights and responsibility

Description of Programme
The Organization has been organized 7 days, this programme for imparting the knowledge of Yoga Technique
and it’s useful. The organization assure to the participants for opening new Yoga Training centre at Gohpur
Town trough Trainer Mr. Bikash Das with Smt. Chinu Deuri, Treasurer of ITSS, NGO.

Description of Programme Two day Computer Awareness campaign for Senior Citizens/Parents organized by ITSS Computer Education
Centre (ICEC) subsidiary of ITSS NGO .The Institute free training has provide on basic computer knowledge,
Internet suffering knowledge , Online Electronic bill payment , online telephone bill payment , Mobile
recharge , Online Shopping , Online Internet Banking, Online Railway Ticket Booking and Reserved ,
Printing and Scanning basic knowledge and training provide to the senior citizen.

Description of Programme
The organization has been conducting crash course for class X and XII students appearing for their board exam. The organization has been providing question sample and suggestion to the students by the trained & expert staffs of the organization. The center charges minimum fees from the trainees to meet the maintenance expenses and room rent etc. Mrs. Sawpna Kakati, (Lecturer of Chaiduar College) has delivered her positive direction and commitment to student.

Description of Programme The Organization organized HIDS awareness Programme on HAIDS Day on 10th Dec.2016 at ITSS Head Office, Gohpur District: Sonitpur-78, in the campaign it was emphasized that prevention is the only one cure to this disease.

Description of Programme
The Integrated Tribal Shining Society (ITSS) NGO provide an opportunity for unemployment youth to acquire skill on basic technical trade and gain exposure in Gohpur area of business operations such as business skills development, identification of appropriate technology, hands on experience on working projects/project/product selection, opportunity guidance including commercial and rural communication aspects of business. ITSS has set up a new income generation programme at its Technical sector with service at Gohpur, Sonitpur under (Sponsored) National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC) initially with the below projects are : Wax candle Making Project, Ice Cream cone making project, Popcorn making project, Ginger paste making Project , Readymade garment making Project, Automatic form fill and sealing project for granules, Automatic form fill and sealing project for liquids, Computerized embroidery Project, Leather footwear and minor article manifesting Project, Bakery Making Project ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ITSS always believe in working towards forming and facilitating the community level-networking group especially for the women and unemployment youth from the various development activities like Skill perdition Training Programme trough the State & Central Govt. Department Agency for the good opportunity objective. Tribal Intellectual Development & Cultural Promote Programme
In the T.I.D.C.P.Programme the society has been providing Integrated Tribal Culture among the tribal
Communication & identification about their intellectual development through Awareness.
ITSS S.H.G. Promotion & Counseling Programme
In the ITSS S.H.G. Promotion & Counseling Programme the society has been providing how to create a new S.H.G. and how to promotion among themselves in the Micro-Credit system at village.

During the year the organization has been conducting Total Sanitary Programme at Pub-Chiaduar Block and Pachim-Chaidur Blcok of Sonitpur District, Assam. The organization has been providing low cost Latrine contraction to the BPL beneficiary, where 300 no. BPL family latrines were constructed and the I.T.S.S. NGO, the Social Volunteers Organisation has been organized that Programme and benefited below property level (BPL) family under the PHC Deptt. of Sonitpur District through the ITSS organization.
