EPIDERMIS

Its main function is protection, absorption of nutrients, and homeostasis. In structure, it consists of a keratinized stratified squamous epitheliumcomprising four types of cells: keratinocytes, melanocytes, Merkel cells, and Langerhans' cells

DERMIS

The dermis is the middle layer of skin, composed of dense irregular

connective tissues such as collagen with elastin arranged in a diffusely bundled and

woven pattern

HAIR

The human body, apart from its glabrous skin, is covered in follicles which produce thick terminal and fine vellus hair. Most common interest in hair is focused on hair growth, hair types and hair care, but hair is also an important biomaterial primarily composed of protein, notably keratin.
