Internship Program Rogers Media is Canada’s largest and most dynamic publisher of magazines and digital content. It produces more than 50 well- known magazines including Chatelaine, Maclean’s and HELLO! Canada. Established in 2012, Rogers Media’s M-School provides interns with an opportunity to gain invaluable, real-world industry experience that will enhance classroom learning. The fast-paced, one-of-a-kind program focuses on three Ms: Magazine content, Multimedia and Multiplatform. Interns will benefit from on-the-job mentoring across all areas of publishing, including Editorial, Design, Sales & Marketing, Operations and Photo/Video Journalism. We’re looking for enthusiastic current students or recent grads with a passion for multiplatform media to work with and learn from our first-class team of publishing professionals. Network and learn from industry experts. Share your talent, energy and ideas with our innovative media teams. Be a part of the evolution of digital publishing as we delve further into the exciting world of multiplatform content creation. What you need to be considered: • Must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a post- secondary program • A strong interest in publishing and media • Excellent verbal and written communication • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications If you are applying for a design, videography or digital publishing opportunity, strong abilities in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS, Adobe Premiere and Dreamweaver are required. Details: The program will run five days a week, on a full-time basis, from Monday, May 2, 2016 to Wednesday, August 31, 2016. The internships are based in Toronto and Montreal and are paid an honorarium of $1800 per month completed. The process: The deadline for applications is Monday, February 1st 2016.
