How to introduce yourself

• Good morning, my name is….

• I will start with a brief examination of your oral cavity.

• First, I am going to have a closer look at your mouth.

• Then, I will remove the tartar and I will check the condition of your teeth and gums.

• At the end of our session, I will tell you a few words about the proper way of dental hygiene and I will show you how to brush your teeth and use the dental aids effectively.

• Come in, sit down.

• Don´t worry, this won´t hurt a bit.

• It won´t last long.

• It will bite a little.

• It feels like a kind of a slight pressure.

• It will be rather uncomfortable.

• You can stand it.

• Tell me if it hurts.

• Keep your mouth open.

• Put out your tongue.

• Say aaah.

• Now, I am going to check your mouth.

• Take out your artificial teeth.

• Close your mouth.

• Put your teeth together.

• Clench your teeth.

• Rinse out your mouth.

• Swallow.

• Gargle.

• Spit out.

• Put on these protective glasses.

• Take off the glasses.

• Put on this protective apron.

• Tilt your head backward.

• Turn your head right, now left.

• Open your mouth wide.

• Take a seat.

• Lie down.

• Lie on your back.

• Lie on your abdomen.

• Lie on your right side.

• Roll over onto your left side.

• Turn to the right (left).
