Fayette County Public Schools believes it takes an entire community to ensure the success of our schools. We are committed to providing educational excellence for ALL students and we understand achieving equity requires strategic decision-making to remedy opportunity gaps and create barrier-free learning environments. The Office of Equity, School Support, and Community Engagement seeks to support the implementation of proven concepts through mentoring, fostering cultural awareness, and male engagement strategies.
Group Mentoring is a strategy for connecting small groups of adult men to mentor a larger
group of boys to foster empowerment through positive self-image, social and academic
achievement, and civic engagement.
