To conclude term 3 we are celebrating the fantastic contributions of two
Educational Staff members, Justine Beagley and Graham Sharrock. The theme for
this year is recognition and respect. Our wonderful ES staff will be treated to a
special morning tea this Thursday. Justine organises our First Aid room along with
stock, policies and professional training. Along with assisting students with
learning, Justine oversees the Active Afterschool Program, plays saxophone in the
band, attends the regional music camp, works in the office and assists with the
newsletter. She is not only a great staff member but she is also an active
community member.
Graham is also an active community member, in particular with the school market
and RACV Energy Breakthrough Program. Grahams main role is to assist a student
with his learning during the year with the unique skill of peg feeding required daily.
Exercises devised by the Occupational Therapist are implemented by Graham as
well as running the active Afterschool Program during the week.
Over the last couple of weeks we have been privileged to an in depth overview of
what our ES staff brings to Tootgarook Primary School. Next term we will add to
our ES overview with two staff who have had a major and continued impact on
Tootgarook Primary School.
