We – the IVB Umwelttechnik GmbH – in Annaberg-Buchholz are your partnerfor hot dipped galvanized recycling bin systems and skips. Family run, midsize andindependent, our name has been standing for quality products made in Germany since 1995.

Our entire value chain, from development and production up to shipment, takesplace at our home location in Annaberg-Buchholz in the Erzgebirge. State-of-the-artmechanical engineering in a production area of more than 7000 m² and our experienced staff of engineers and craftsmen off er the guarantee of constant high quality. Since 2001, the certifi cation according to DIN EN ISO 9001 has been confi rming the effi cacy of ourquality management system.

Construction & PrefabricationWhen manufacturing our containers, we always pay heed to only using the most highquality materials. As an example, for the body of our containers, we only use cold-rolled quality sheet metal DC 01, which is also used in the automobile industry and guarantees an increased strain to rupture. The material is therefore harder and crack-resistant. Our distributors also know that we apply the highest standards of quality, reliability, fl exibility and costs.

The leitmotif of our production is “Made in Germany”. Our machines that we use for die cutting, lasing and pressing are made by well-known German manufac-turers like Trumpf and Weinbrenner. Combined with our high-quality material, they build the basis for ourespecially robust container systems.

Our highly qualifi ed employees profi t from the year-long experience of our company and design high-qualityproducts with long durability.

Galvanizing & Final AssemblyWith the Annaberger Feuerverzinkung GmbH that was opened inNovember 2008 and fi ts right into the IVB Umwelttechnik GmbH premises, we’ve managed to enormously optimize the value-added process. We cantherefore guarantee our customers galvanizing according to DIN ISO 1461 that isperfectly tailored to our containers as well as control of the entire production process.

After leaving the Annaberger Feuerverzinkung GmbH the containers are then completely assembled, which means the component parts such as wheels, brakes and diff erent lid systems are added.

The optimized design and the robust model, targeted to the rough handling within waste management, our containers off er high effi ciency and long durability to the users.

To keep this promise, we’ve been ISO 9001 certifi ed since 2001 and also member of the RAL-joint property. The RAL – German Institute for quality control and identifi cation(registered society) – demands a great deal of their members. Only those get their seal who pass their regular and strict examinations. Of course our large refuse containers meet the norms EN 840-2 and -3/6 as well as current noise protection regulations.

Faster than all the others… - SponsoringWe’re the fastest in the sector of container construction and attach great importance to matching the requirements of our customers for short delivery times. So it suggests itself to become a sponsor in the racing scene and support “tomorrow’s Schumachers”.

We’re supporting Kevin Metzner – a young, aspiring motorsports talent.

Since the beginning of his racing career in 2006, we’ve been accompanying Kevin to his diff erent races all over Europe. With the title win at the “ADAC Kart Masters” he achieved the best possible result of his class in 2010. In 2011 he did the same in the KF3 class(juniors). With the victory at the ADAC federal fi nal run and the successful participation at the KF3 European Championship in French Varennes he was able to prove his talent again.

In 2012 another victory at the ADAC federal fi nal run followed as well as thechampionship title in the East-German Kart Championship as well as the SaxonyChampionship.

The year 2013 was a year full of new experiences for Kevin Metzner. In addition to winning the OAKC Championship again, the Annaberg resident was able to gain fi rst experiences at international series and celebrated his premiere at the KF2 class(seniors) within the framework of the German Kart Championship in Belgian Genk.

In 2014 Kevin competed in the KF2 class again to collect moretop-class experiences within theframework of the German Kart Championship and other interna-tional races. Moreover the furtherpreparation for the switch to Formula racing is still the young driver’s focus.

2015 The young talent fromSaxony switches to automobile sports and starts at the Volkswa-gen Golf Cup. Six races on tracks in Germany, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic await theyoungster. He starts with a VW Gold with more than 300 HP. “I’m looking forward to my fi rst start in a touring car. The Golf’s performance is very impressive and a lot of fun”.

2016 - Kevin is launching a 300 hp VW Scirocco R in the SuperProduction class as part of theGerman Touring Car Cup.
