IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control Level 2, level 3 and level 4
Lecturer: Mike Maatjes. Overview The programme is aimed at giving well intervention operations personnel more in-depth understanding of the principles of pressure control methods related to Well Servicing operations. This course is for those persons having a key role in all or one of the following: well completion, wireline, coiled tubing, snubbing. Summary The objective of this training is to increase the candidates knowledge and understanding of pressure control theory, practice and equipment. This will help prepare the candidates to deal with pressure control situations they may encounter.
• Level 2 is aimed at service equipment helpers • Level 3 is aimed at service equipment operators • Level 4 is aimed at well intervention supervisors
The programme content includes the following elements:
• Completion operations (compulsory) • Completion Equipment (compulsory) • Wireline operations (optional) • Coiled tubing operations (optional) • Snubbing operations (optional)
At the end of the course the candidates will sit an exam. Candidates may combine two or more of the above options in a combined operations certification programme. But to obtain a combined Certificate candidates must pass each of the operations test papers that they sit. Duration Level 2: 3 days plus a half-day exam Level 3&4: 4 days plus a half-day exam Frequency Level 2: every 5 years Level 3&4: every 2 years Language This course is delivered in English.

Location: Available in Brunei via Blue Oceanic. Certification validity:Level 2: IWCF certificate valid for 5 years. Level 3&4: IWCF certificate valid for 2 years. Target audience
