We recognise that many of our existing and loyal customers will have children studying at JCG and our commitment to the JCG Foundation demonstrates our desire to reciprocate the support we receive.” 52 | www.life-mags.com OUT AND ABOUT As part of the run up to the 2014 Jacksons Pride and Joy event being held at College Field and the JCG Campus on Sunday 29th June 2014, Jacksons have branded a smart car to help the JCG Foundation, the charitable arm of JCG, promote this unique event. “The inaugural Pride and Joy event last year was very popular with over £3 million worth of cars on display” said Leanda Jane Guy, JCG Foundation Director. “Everything from a 6th formers adored Fiesta, to a Ferrari Daytona, Maserati Khamsin, Shelby Mustang, Bentley TGC, VW Beetle, Triumph Stag, VW Splitscreen Camper, Rolls Royce 20HP to an Austin Healey Frogeye Sprite were just a few of the adored cars on display.” “JCG has hired Victoria College’s wonderful College Field as this is the perfect setting for such a unique event and we are very grateful to have use of this amazing space for Pride and Joy 2014.” This year anyone passionate about their car is invited to register their Pride and Joy at www.jacksonsci.com. A £10 registration fee is required for cars, with all funds raised for registration and on the day going to support the work of the JCG Foundation. “If you do not wish to register a car we do hope you will join us on the day 1pm onwards on College Field with your picnic or to enjoy catering from The Chugging Pig, The Jacksons Coffee Car and Stuart’s Spiral ices” commented Leanda Jane Guy, JCG Foundation Director. “The event is free for spectators and everyone is welcome for what will be a fabulous afternoon.” Jacksons are a JCG Foundation Corporate Partner.
