Save the Children – Christmas Jumper Day
Thank you and well done for making that special effort last Friday
and paying £1 for the privilege of wearing your Christmas jumper,
donning a Santa hat or sporting Rudolph antlers. In total you raised
£1400 – all of this will go via Save the Children to the Philippines
Aid effort. It was a fun day, with Christmas dinner at lunch adding
to the festive spirit.
Congratulations and thank you, to the Year 7s & Post 16
students who were an integral part of the Candlelit Carol Service
on Sunday at All Saints’ Parish Church. A Year 7 sang the opening
solo, a group of Year 7s led the prayers at the end of the service
and the Post 16 students were involved in the 9 readings
throughout the service.
School closes today for the Christmas holidays – enjoy your two
week break – we welcome you back on Monday 6th January to face
all the joys and challenges the new term will bring.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
see you in 2014
