Director of Sales and Marketing Job Summary The Director of Sales & Marketing is in charge of training and supervising the hotel´s sales & marketing team. Will work closely with the General Manager to determine appropriate sales strategies in all market segments towards maximizing the hotel revenues. Responsible for a maximum of occupancy in all channels in order to optimize general business opportunities. Job Requirement: 1. Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or relevant discipline 2. Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a 5 star environment 3. Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English. Knowledge of other language is a plus. 4. Previous experience in the Maldives is an advantage 5. Creates lucrative sales targets and networks business relations to corporate clients, like airlines, tourist offices, especially European Travel Trades 6. Good strategist and has to observe the market, identity trend and monitor the main competitors. Based on observations, remains flexible to create sales targets depending on t he tide of events. 7. Experience managing key global accounts and oversees the accounts management of the property.
