Job Description: Jnr. System Analyst, Transaction Junction

The systems analyst role within TJ is to provide operational support to customers. The role

includes daily monitoring of the environment, troubleshooting and resolving system and

environmental issues.

Skill set:

Methodical approach to work

Attention to detail

Logical approach to solving problems

Proficient with databases (Microsoft SQL beneficial)

Excellent written and verbal skills in English

Fanatical about service delivery

High levels of energy and drive

Ability to monitor work flows

Technical qualification in Information Systems/or at least 1 year work experience in related

IT or payments industry

The ability to work according to set processes

Understanding of Incident management

Dedicated worker

Understanding of Postilion Office systems and the payments environment would be

beneficial

Expectations:

This serves as guideline of what TJ expects from an analyst.

Handling of day-to-day incidents and requests for information / transaction queries

Management of open incidents after hours, and working effectively to resolve these incidents

Assist with problem solving and information gathering (traces/ log files etc)

Technical support of our environment

Early identification of issues through monitoring

Basic monitoring and quality assurance checking

After hours, remote support on rotation

Documentation and contributing to the Knowledge base

Team work

Education Requirements:

Matric or equivalent qualification

IT qualification (certificate/diploma or degree)

At least 1 years’ experience in Postilion Office systems with monitoring and incident

management experience would be an advantage
