Day 1, Thursday:

• Johannesburg – Maputo: 8:40 – 9:50 or 9:40 – 10:40 or 13:55 – 14:55 • 2 nights in Maputo

Day 3, Saturday:

• Departure Maputo – Inhambane, LAM: 12:30 – 13:30 • Transfer to Travessia, Arrival at Travessia at approx. 16:00 • 4 nights at Travessia

Day 4: At leisure at the lodge, for example:

• 6:30/7am: Early morning coffee/tea on private deck • Beach-walk/run • 8am: Breakfast • Beach time/Pool time • 12:30pm: Lunch • 3pm: Early afternoon: Guided bush/ village walk (+/- 2 hrs, flexible) • Coffee & Tea at the lounge • 5:30pm: Sundowners • 6:30pm: Two-course dinner: fish/meat dish with choice of side dishes/veggies, side salad, dessert

Day 5: Day Trip to Inhambane/Tofo or Guinjata for Ocean Experience/Scuba Diving/Snorkeling

• +/- 5:30 am (depending on tide and launch time): Early continental breakfast, departure from Travessia Beach Lodge

Day 6: At leisure at the lodge Other activities:

• Bike-tour along the beach, back in time for lunch or picnic (unguided, timing depending on tide schedule)

• Introduction to archery in our palm grove (kids and adult bows available) • Casual bike tour through Travessia’s neighborhood – a 30min cycle track through the community

and past the Baobab trees of our neighborhood, guided or unguided Day 7, Wednesday:

• Departure for Inhambane at approx. 10am, light lunch in Inhambane at “Pescador” • Departure: Inhambane – Maputo, LAM: 15:20 – 16:15 (direct) • Connecting to Johannesburg, LAM: 17:20 – 18:30

(The trip can also be booked on different weekdays. The chosen weekdays of this schedule ensure that the Maputo – Inhambane connection is direct and not via Vilankulos)
