Jorge Gonzalez began his research at FSU’s National High Magnetic Field Laboratory less than a month after his high school graduation. He is one of FSU’s new Presidential Scholars.
Linsey Rodenbach is a 2nd year undergraduate physics major working at FSU’s National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. She is building a device to study magnetic properties of materials at high fields and low temperatures.
Austin Skeeters is an FSU undergraduate physics major who is helping to design an upgrade for a half-billion dollar detector at CERN’s LHC, where the Higgs Boson was discovered.
Amelia Estry is 2nd year physics major at FSU and a researcher at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. Her work last summer included a trip to the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.
Michael Woods is an FSU undergraduate physics major and a researcher at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory examining how conduction electrons move in metals under extreme conditions.
Daniel Suarez is presently an FSU undergraduate physics major and a researcher in the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, but his career goal is to become a neurosurgeon.
As an undergraduate researcher working in FSU’s Fox Superconducting Accelerator Lab, Drew Blankstein improved the performance of experiments that study the nuclear reactions taking place in stars.
