Automation of Indian Post Office

Abstract The proposed method relates to a noble cause of helping working people in post office by

providing an atomized module which can make their work easy in short time duration. Being particular, the proposed invention using predefined data base and software detects

different areas’ PINCODE and further hardware mechanism is capable of distributing postcards as per their area and collect them in separate boxes.

Analysis of Digital and Audio Watermarking Methods

Shivajyoti*, Mahendra Pandey Department of Electronics and Comm. Engineering, RJIT, BSF, Tekanpur, Gwalior, MP, India

Abstract Due to increase in usage of digital multimedia, watermarking technology satisfies the

various requirements of copyright protection applications in terms of audio signals but variety of properties of different audio signals crucially affect the selection of suitable

watermarking technique. In this paper, due to some experimental requirements, different techniques have been compared. Echo hiding and cepstrum techniques have been used in

terms of noise produced during the transmission of audio signal.

Profile of Human Development in Kachchh District

of Gujarat State

N. T. Taglani* Tolani Commerce College, Adipur, Kachchh, Gujarat, India

Abstract Kuchchh district of Gujarat state is the largest district in Gujarat and the second

largest in India. The investigator has found out the human development in Kachchh

with the help of secondary sources. District holds the topmost position in respect of

value of income index amongst all the districts of Gujarat in 2001. The income index

was 0.247 in 1991 which increased to 0.308 in 2001. The value of index increased to

0.061 during the decade of 1991–2001. The index value of education was 0.556 in

1991 which decreased to 0.547 in 2001. From the health point of view, the index

increased from 0.394 to 0.531. Human Development Index (HDI) of Kachchh was

0.399 which increased to 0.462 i.e., it increased by 0.063. It was concluded that

human development of Kachchh increased due to improvement in income and health

facilities during the predecade of earthquake but our rank was 15 which was pushed

down to 17 .
