1. JULIUS CAESARJulius Caesar was born in Rome on 12thof July
in 100 BC and died in Ibid on the 15thMarch in 44 BC. He was a
militar and politicalleader whose dictatorship ended the Republicin
Rome. He grew up in a poor family. Julius Caesar spent amiserable
youth, which soonbegan to approach the political party.Julius
Caesar achieved great political success to reconcilethe two rival
leaders, Crassus and Pompey. In 59 BC, JuliusCaesar was elected
consul. Caesar started a civil war which took three years (49-46
BC)and which was victorious. He conquered Rome and Italy, then
heinvaded Hispania, and finally went to the East, where Pompey
hadtaken refuge. Caesar was very important for their work: Consul
for ten years,prefect of the customs, the chief of the army, the
high priest,perpetual dictator and emperor transmission right.
Julius Caesar was assassinated in a conspiracy led byCassius and
Brutus, which prevented him from completing hisreforms. However,
