Pray fervently and problems will always look and become a little smaller. Just a little talk with Jesus will make everything alright.

Peace John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.

Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be trou-

bled, neither let them be afraid.” The troubled heart has always been

a part of man’s existence. As we read the book of Genesis, our human

nature causes us to wonder what Adam and Eve were feeling as they

were cast out of the garden. In Numbers 11:10-15, we see Moses with

a most burdened heart. In I Kings 19, we find Elijah with a heart that is

sorely troubled.

Tragically, there are so many things in this world that cause

our hearts to be troubled. There are also conditions in the church

that cause us to be heavy hearted; seeing members fall by the wayside,

church growth at a standstill, the lukewarm and indifference of some

church members, are just a few heart breaking instances. The list of

troubling events goes on and on.

But all is not lost! Everything is not difficulty, despair and

heartache. The Lord is ever present with us and He will help us (Heb.

13:5; Heb. 2:18; Heb. 4:15-16; I Pet. 5:7). It is most comfor ting to

know that our Lord is always with us and so long as we are faithful to

Him we can depend on Him. We can be at peace (Phil. 4:6-7). Pray

fervently and problems will always look and become a little smaller.

Just a little talk with Jesus will make everything alright.

It is an honor to have you join us in worship at the

Northside Church of Christ! Our mission is to save

souls and to help souls stay saved. We extend our

sincere love towards you and we encourage you to take

advantage of the opportunity to have a bible study with

members who are eager to study with you. If you do not

share our like faith, this bible study, as well as your visit

today, offers a two way opportunity: (1) We have the

chance to share with you the gospel of Jesus Christ and

the essential steps to salvation. (2) You have the chance

to hear, believe, repent, confess, and be baptized where-

by being added to the Church of Christ. We welcome

you to investigate what you hear and see today. You

will be able to ask your biblical questions and receive

biblical answers that will guide you to make an in-

formed, life changing decision. Thank you for being our

special guest! Please come again.

Did You Tell Someone About Jesus?

Matt. 28:19-20 is the great

commission given to members of

the body of Christ. As Christians,

it is our responsibility to Tell,

Talk and Teach others about

Jesus. Telling someone about

Christ will often open the door to

Talk with them about Him. You

can then Teach them or invite

them to Church where they can be

taught. We encourage each Chris-

tian to take advantage of such

opportunities. If you know of a

prospect, and for some reason

cannot conduct a personal Bible

study, please give their contact

information to Bro. and/or Sis.

Oliver or to one of our Leaders.

Welcome to the Family!!
