Thursday 26th June Meals:D Arrive into London and transfer to Knightsbridge and The Rembrandt Hotel where accommodation has been reserved for one night on a bed and breakfast basis. This evening meet your tour escort Owen Evans and other tour participants in the bar for ‘Welcome Drinks’, before moving through to the Palette Restaurant where a Carvery Dinner will be served.

The Rembrandt Hotel Situated in the heart of Knightsbridge, The Rembrandt Hotel is a spectacular Edwardian building with timeless ornate architecture. Perfectly positioned for exploring, you’ll find the Victoria & Albert Museum right opposite and within a 5-minute walk the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and South Kensington station providing easy access to all the large mainland stations. Designer shoppers won’t be disappointed either, with Harrods and Harvey Nichols only a 10-minute stroll.

Friday 27th June Meals: B After breakfast, check-out of your hotel room and meet Owen and your coach driver for transfer to East Sussex. En-route you’ll stop off at the Brooklands Motor Museum, the home of British Motorsport where a 2-hour guided tour of the museum has been arranged along with additional time to explore. Following your visit continue on to Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club where accommodation has been reserved for the next 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

Saturday 28th June Meals: B Following breakfast you will be transferred to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. A 2-Day Entrance Pass has been reserved for Goodwood Festival of Speed. 2014 is the 22nd Anniversary of the Goodwood Festival of Speed and promises to be an exceptional event. At the conclusion of the day you will be transferred back to your hotel. This evening is at leisure.

Sunday 29th June Meals: B D

Day-2: Goodwood Festival of Speed including transfers to the event. At the conclusion of today’s event you will be transferred to the Goodwood Hotel and the Richmond Arms Bar for dinner. Later this evening you will be transferred back to your accommodation at Ashdown Park Hotel.

Monday 30th June Meals: B

Enjoy breakfast, before checking-out of your room and meeting your coach and driver. Depart Sussex and transfer to Beaulieu and the National Motor Museum, home to a stunning collection of automobiles and motorcycles showcasing motoring on British roads from the beginning to the present. From World Land Speed Record Breakers including Campbell’s famous Bluebird to the latest rally cars and F1 Grand Prix machines, there’s even a collection of original James Bond vehicles. Motoring, Stately homes, Historic buildings or stunning gardens there’s plenty to occupy everyone’s time at Beaulieu.

Depart Beaulieu for Bath. Bath is one of the UK’s most beautiful and stylish cities, and a UNESCO ‘World Heritage Site’. On arrival into Bath you will be transferred to your accommodation which has been reserved for 2 nights on a bed and breakfast at The Bath Priory Hotel Restaurant & Spa.

Today is free to explore Bath at your own leisure and there’s plenty on offer to choose from.

Bath Nourished by natural hot springs the regency spa town of Bath is one of the most important sites of Roman antiquities in Europe and famous for it’s perfectly preserved Roman baths, Georgian architecture and an abundance of cultural events. Take a stroll through the streets and explore architectural sights which include the Royal Crescent, the Circus, Pulteney Bridge and more. Bath, also offers a diverse collection of museums and attractions, these include the Thermae Bath Spa, The Jane Austin Centre, Sally Lunn’s Historic Eating House and Museum, the Astrology Museum, the Fashion Museum and Victoria Art Gallery. Less than an hour away, in Somerset the Haynes Motor Museum may be of interest. Whatever you choose Bath is a captivating town begging to be explored.

Wednesday 2nd July Meals: B Following breakfast, check-out of your room and meet with Owen and your coach driver. Depart Bath for Stratford-upon-Avon travelling through the English countryside on your journey. On arrival in to Stratford-upon-Avon transfer to your accommodation which has been reserved for 5 nights at The Arden Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Friday 4th July Meals: B Enjoy breakfast before meeting Owen and your driver and departure for Day-1 of the 2014 Formula 1® British Grand Prix at Silverstone. A 3-Day Grandstand Admission Pass has been reserved. At the conclusion of Silverstone Day 1 racing, you will be transferred back to The Arden Hotel. An alternative for those not wanting to spend 3-Days at Silverstone is to spend the day exploring the history and delights of Stratford-upon-Avon at your own leisure. Walking Tours are available.

Stratford-upon-Avon

Set in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside on the banks of the Avon River, Stratford-upon-Avon the birthplace of William Shakespeare is bursting with history and olde English charm. Enjoy the delights of Shakespeare’s hometown, or within an hour’s drive experience the delightful Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace to the south, Worcester and the Malvern’s to the west and Warwick Castle to the north.

After breakfast this morning, check-out of your room for departure back to London where accommodation has been reserved for 1 night on a bed and breakfast basis at The Rembrandt Hotel. On arrival back at The Rembrandt Hotel the remainder of your day will be free.

Tuesday 8th July Meals: B Enjoy the last day of your Best of British Motor Sport Tour, before being transferred back to London or London Heathrow for your return flight back to New Zealand.

Deposits & Payment To secure a place on this tour, HCB requires an initial non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 per person based on land itinerary with a further $2,000.00 per person required no later than Friday 08 February 2014. Final payment is due no later than Friday 18 April 2014. All prices are based on payment by cash, cheque or internet banking.

Tour Departure Our exclusive tour is based on 20 passengers travelling. Itinerary commences in London on Thursday 26 June 2014 and concludes in London on Tuesday 08 July 2014. Goodwood will officially confirm dates in December 13. Should a hotel change be required, the nearest suitable alternative will be found. In the event that numbers are less than expected, it may be necessary to adjust pricing accordingly to take into account a smaller number on the group.
