How do so many things happen in such a short amount of time? The outcomes, the donations, the accolades, the introductions? Friends, it is YOU! I look back over this issue of The Wave and can put a face with each message we shared and every dollar that was raised. Bottom-line, we need each of you for very special reasons. You make up the body of people who have taken the John Kanzius idea from dream to near reality. The effect is tremendous and a multitude of people touched by cancer join me in saying “thanks!” I hope you will join us in October for our first national conference: faces2012…this is for you!

“We need each of you for very special reasons.”

The end result is destroyed cancer cells with minimal or no side effects as associated with traditional chemical and radiation therapy.

Amazingly, all three politicians had been introduced to the concept of the Kanzius Noninvasive Radiowave Cancer Treatment during President Obama’s 2010 and 2012 State of the Union addresses when he alluded to the Kanzius methodology without mentioning the inventor’s name. Neidig believes that one day, “We will see Mrs. Kanzius sitting next to a First Lady when the President looks up and acknowledges John Kanzius, the man responsible for this innovative cancer treatment.”

In support of the message Neidig shared with the legislators, he was able to deliver the most recent research manuscripts published as a result of your generous donations: In January, the Curley/Kanzius team in Houston was the first group in the world to prove that nanoparticles can and have been delivered into the nucleus of the cancer cell. This was validated in the January issue of scientific journal, Biomaterials, which published “Internalization of C60 fullerenes into cancer cells with accumulation in the nucleus via the nuclear pore complex.”

The February issue of Nanomedicine published some very valuable findings in “Stability of antibody-conjugated gold nanoparticles in the endolysosomal nano- environment: implications for noninvasive radiofrequency-based cancer therapy.” The Curley/Kanzius team learned that they could improve the heating of the cancer cell by changing the environment of the gold nanoparticles, thus releasing enough heat to produce lethal damage upon treatment in the Kanzius RF field.

Impressive, YES! Essential, ABSOLUTELY! The Kanzius project needs your support and donations; it needs ongoing publication of stellar lab outcomes to prove that it works effectively each and every time; and, it needs advocates in high places to help along the way. Together, we will prove that there is “a better way” to treat cancer!

Curley Honored at Tribeca Film FestivalThe Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards celebrates those whose actions have broken the mold to create significant impact on the future of our world. On Friday, April 27, Dr. Steven Curley, lead researcher for the Kanzius Noninvasive Radiowave Cancer Treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center received this honor at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. Dr. Curley was selected for his disruptive cancer research utilizing nanoparticles and radiowave technology. Congratulations to Dr. Curley and his staff.

Since 2004, Adrian Koury has been fighting a battle familiar to cancer survivors and their families. His diagnosis of head and neck cancer was just the beginning. Through it all...the chemo and radiation, multiple surgeries, remission, and then tests confirming the cancer had not only returned but spread...Adrian refused to accept defeat.

Born and raised in San Diego, California, Koury is the owner of Pacific Coast Concrete and the youngest of seven children. He and his wife Angela are raising three children, two teenage boys and a 9-year-old daughter.

Adrian has fought his personal battle aggressively, enduring painful traditional therapies and exploring alternative medicine, and now believes the Kanzius Noninvasive Radiowave Cancer Treatment is the best hope for real change in cancer treatment. In support, his friends and family are reaching out to increase awareness and support for Kanzius research. A family member asks others, “What would I do if this man were my father, brother, husband or friend? When would it be too much money or too much time to contribute? What would I do to save the life of someone I love?”

COINS for KANZIUS“I was extremely pleased with the results of our coin drive and the understanding and appreciation the students gained from doing it. I would recommend the program in a heartbeat to any school and look forward to being able to help in the future.” — Joseph Orlando, Principal at JoAnna Connell Elementary

One quarter at a time, the Coins for Kanzius program is making a difference in the fight against cancer. As an added benefit, this activity gives young people a way to discuss how cancer has affected their families and friends and learn that they can make a difference through volunteer efforts.

The test program was introduced this spring. By participating, students learned about the Kanzius Noninvasive Radiowave Cancer Treatment and received their own Coins for Kanzius booklets to collect 40 quarters for the world’s most promising cancer treatment.

If your school or organization is interested in more information about this exciting and easy-to-administer project, visit www.CoinsForKanzius.org or call 814.480.5776.

Students and staff from JoAnna Connell and Wilson Middle School helped the Kanzius Foundation launch the Coins for Kanzius initiative — raising $5,315 which was then matched by Lester and Sue Smith and the Pink Well Challenge Grant.

What is Kanzius?

Kanzius is the last name of John Kanzius, the inventor

of the Kanzius Noninvasive Radiowave Cancer Treatment.

What is unique about this treatment?

• No surgery (Noninvasive)

• No side effects

• Utilizes targeted nanoparticles and

a patented radiowave generating device

• Destroys cancer cells without damaging

the neighboring “good” cells
