Summer greetings Brothers and all, Wow, is it really that time of year again? How
time flies by when you are having fun! Hope this message finds each one of you doing well. The month of July marks both an end and a beginning for all of the Officers of Council 3548. As the New Fra-ternal year begins for 2014-2015, I must take time to thank the membership, officers, trustees, and family members for all the hard work, time, and dedication that directly supported all the activities and events that were successfully executed this past year.
I would also like to pass on a very special thank you and a job very well done to Bill Duncan and the outgoing officers. You have set the bar high, but I believe that the incoming officers are up for the challenge. Thank you for all that you and the outgoing officers have done for this great Council.
As we begin this new fraternal year, I would like to say thank you to all the Brothers of Council 3548. You have entrusted me to lead this great Council and for that I am truly humbled and very thankful. I will give you 110% of my efforts and dedi-cation to ensure that the Council continues to head in the right direction. I and the incoming officers are going to have a few mountains to climb but I am con-fident that we will persevere. One of the main initia-tives we will be under taking will getting current members to participate in Council meetings, events, and activities becomes a priority.
I would also like to make an announcement. Effective July 1
st, Tricia Martin will assume the role
as Bar Manager. Tricia has for a few years support-ed the Council by dedicating her time behind the bar.

Congratulations to Tricia, and we look forward to good things from you.
As for Council events, things will start off slow-ly but will quickly shift into high gear. I am looking at reviving our Friday Night Dinner & Socials. If you are interested in hosting a Friday Night Dinner & Social please contact our worthy Chancellor Richard Klotz. Our Family Breakfasts start back up in September, after the In & Out Celebration. Speaking of the Council's In & Out Installation of Officers Banquet, it will be held on Saturday, August 16 in the main hall. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. For tickets to this formal event please see any Council Officer at a cost of $25 a person, or $35 a couple. Installation Ceremony, Dinner, & Dancing are the plan for the evening. Come out and show your support for your Grand Knight and Officers of the Council.
I am looking forward to a rewarding Fraternal Year as your Grand Knight. I truly believe that with the help all my Brother Knights we will be able to ac-complish the many tasks that we have planned or may encounter throughout the year. Thank you all for your anticipated support this coming year. Vivat Jesus, J.P. Tyminski Grand Knight
