• Using out-reach and technical assistance, Terri and her team achieved a 70% increase in recycling and a greater awareness of waste prevention as a whole in Thurston County. Trash disposal is down 19% but the economy shares the credit for that ;-)

• Worked on waste reduction programs in Ventura County, CA and the Department of Defense Environmental Division in Crete, Greece.

• BA in Community Development and BS in Environmental Science from the Evergreen State College and loves thinking about and working on the intersection of humans and the natural environment.

• Kim brings her passion for experiential education & food justice as well as her skills in group facilitation & organizational development to her leadership role at GRuB.

• GRuB co-founder • Since 1997, more than 200 teens and 2,400 families have benefitted

from GRuB' employment and garden-building programs respectively. GRuB is currently in collaboration with multiple school districts to integrate GRuB’s food justice curriculum and youth development model into area high schools.
