TerroirSixty-one acres of vineyards produce the all estate-grown red and white wines that capture Old World style along side Texas pride. Hand planted in 1998 and 1999, the vineyards are the passion of the de Wet family of Tyler. Our winemaking philosophy is to take the fruit from each vintage and tell the story of that year. We do so by highlighting and complementing the characteristics that the fruit has to offer. In growing and making Kiepersol wines, we strive to make the most approachable, comfortable, well balanced wines that still have complexity of flavors and supple tannin structures. This is our key to creating comfortable wines that showcase our terroir.

Kiepersol Moscato

A light bodied white with welcomed sweetness and extremely expressive fruit and floral characteristics. A nose of hawthorn flowers, honeysuckle and pear blossoms dips gently into ripe summer peaches, mandarin orange and mango. Your palate is alive with the complexity of floral and tropical notes throughout.

Notes:

Perfectly pink with a parade of summery flavors. This fresh White Zinfandel has a ripe strawberry and candy apple nose drawing you in to a palate of perfectly balanced acidity and crisp sweetness. A long finish of ripe berries will keep you longing for this sweet and zin-ful nectar.

Kiepersol Vit

Vit is the perfect white wine with a semi-sweet approach and a beautiful acidity to keep it wine crisp and refreshing. This is the wine that will make everyone happy from the dry Chardonnay drinker to the sweet blush drinker.

Notes:

Light, delicate and refreshing with an alluring bouquet of crisp apple and hawthorn flower, the Pinot Grigio displays beautiful minerality on the palate with hints of citrus and apple on the finish. This wine celebrates the essence of Pinot Grigio. It is best enjoyed chilled.

Kiepersol Sauvignon Blanc

The Sauvignon Blanc is a beautifully dry, crisp and fruity wine with a well-traveled nose of pineapple, papaya and crisp citrus offsetting a bit of minerality leading to a palate of guava and light citrus. The lemon zest finish, great acidic backbone and gracious balance support the concentrated quench of tropical fruit.

Notes:

The Viognier is made in the same style as a classic Chardonnay. It is a heavy-bodied dry white wine with delicious oak expressions and a soft acidity. Floral with honeydew melon and green apple, while open this wine expands into a beautiful lemon and citrus minerality. With 35% of this Viognier being finished in oak, the palate also exudes some rich caramel flavors.

Bridge Sweet Mengsel

A deep dark garnet sweet red blend with crystalline clarity. The nose of chocolate and blackberry jam ascends into a fresh red fruit palate highlighted by cherries. Pomegranate and cranberry provide an elegant finish to the structured acidity of ripe fruit.

Notes:

Mengsel is an Afrikaans word that simply translates to ‘blend’. This is a great easy drinking light to medium bodied dry red blend. It will rival many of the best Pinot Noirs, as well as Chianti’s! Fig aromas flank the plum and cinnamon palate with hints of cedar. Balanced, with light tannins, this divine luxury finishes with allspice and tart red cherry.

Kiepersol Syrah

The Syrah is a gorgeous comfortable dry red. Like the Vit for our whites, this is the perfect red, with fabulous complexities and richness to please the Cabernet drinker and delicate smoothness with no bitterness to please the newcomers to dry red wines. Velvety fig and strawberry jam begin the palate culminating in a full and creamy red fruit finish.

Notes:

A classic dry red to rival the absolute best Merlots in the world! Deep caramelized plum and blackberry fruit character with beautifully structured tannins. Surrender yourself to the comforting nose of cinnamon and toffee which complement the peppery strawberry palate with a long full-bodied vanilla finish.

Kiepersol Merlot

Kiepersol Cabernet Sauvignon

This variety has been dubbed the King of red wine! And it rules our kingdom as well. A seamless rich mix of black currant, black pepper and ripe black berries with supple tannins draw you into this stunning wine. Balanced acidity and a depth of ripe fruit flavors in this Cabernet truly showcase a blend of New and Old World styles.

Notes:

With no barrel aging, this wine highlights not only the Kiepersol terroir amazingly, but also the inherent silkiness of the Syrah grape. The compelling nose of blackberry, cake batter and thyme gently take you into the heavy-bodied black fruit palate with a long, peppery finish.

Stainless Syrah

Stainless Cabernet Sauvignon

Our most bold Cabernet harvested yet features gorgeous, bold but rounded tannins, rich with black cherry, licorice and dried plums. This wine had heavy fruit that we wanted to capture in the bottle before oak aging. The lack of natural bitter tannins allowed us to do this and really showcase the Kiepersol terroir. This is a grape growers wine!

Notes:

Barrel No. 33 is a premium red blend for wine collectors and foodies alike. A bold balance is struck between a fruity Godiva raspberry nose and a crushed velvet chocolate covered strawberry palate. Versatile enough to accompany any occasion, Barrel No. 33 is also a ‘keeper’ for aging up to ten years with excellent tannin structure and a long toffee finish.

Kiepersol Port

A rich full bodied fortified dessert wine. The copper shimmer of this tawny Port reflects its perfect aging and soothing appeal. An engagingly sweet pipe tobacco and milk chocolate nose draw you in. A captivating palate of candied walnuts and pralines releases you gently into a long chocolate and vanilla finish.
