Nestled at the base of Mount Hood, the Salmon Wild and Scenic River flows through Wildwood in the heart of one of Oregon’s most iconic regions. This 560-acre forested park features the innovative Cascade Streamwatch and Wetland Boardwalk interpretive trails. Wildwood also provides outstanding facilities for day- use recreation such as covered shelters, outdoor kitchens, scenic picnic sites, ball fields and a playground. The park is ideal for large groups and those looking to learn more about the fascinating watersheds of the Cascade Range. Know before you go open hours: Wildwood is open from sunrise to sunset from the first weekend in April to mid-November. fees: $5 for cars, $10 for buses (10-20 passengers), and $20 for buses (20+ passengers). group picnic shelters: offer outdoor picnic kitchens, athletic fields and other recreation activities.
