One of the joys of owning a Kohler acrylic unit is the easeof cleaning. There are no seams or tight corners for limeor mildew build-up. As with any smooth surface, avoidusing abrasive cleansers on your acrylic whirlpool.Abrasive cleansers will scratch and dull the surface.

Wipe out your acrylic unit with a soft cloth after each useto prevent a build-up of soap and scum. If the surfacegets excessively dirty you can use a general purposecleaner such as: Cinch, Glass Plus, 409 All Purpose,Dow Soap Scum and Mildew Remover, Scrub FreeMildew Remover, Mr. Clean Lemon Fresh, orFantastik. You can also use an automotive-typepolishing compound, followed by an application ofgood-quality paste wax.

Avoid cleaning products containing the followingchemicals, as they will damage the finish: acetone, ethylalcohol, amyl or ethyl acetate, sodium hypochlorite, toluene, or phenol.

Extreme heat, such as that generated by cigarettes orportable heaters, can damage whirlpool surfaces; do notuse such items near your acrylic unit.
