They played well, with great passing, spatial awareness, great plays and fabulous shooting.

Thank you to Miss Genoli who came to help out. Good luck to the girls, who will play Grafton Public School in the next round.

PICKUP AND DROP OFF Recently we have posted in our newsletter, Skoolbag and on our display sign at the front gate, not to park along the fence line at pick up an drop off time. It is illegal and will cost you a large fine if caught parking there. Parking and overtaking at the pedestrian crossing is so dangerous but we witness this happening every day and it is against the law. Parking at the pedestrian crossing is illegal and so is overtaking a car parked at the pedestrian crossing. There have been so many close calls with pedestrians and we are really afraid that one day it may be your child that will be injured or worse. Traffic blocks up onto the highway. This alone could cause a major incident if the last car in line is hit! If your child is not at the pick up deck, drive around the block or park safely and legally where you can walk into the school to meet your child/ren. Please, please heed the warnings. We don’t want any major incident to occur. Life is precious. Our teachers do a wonderful job of getting our students into the cars as quick as they can, it is a dangerous job which they volunteer to do for the safety of your children. Please follow their instructions for safety of us all. The email below has been sent to us from the Coffs Harbour Police command.

Please share and inform all parents and staff.

Coffs/Clarence PD, NSW Traffic Highway Command and Coffs Harbour City Council are continuing their patrols and enforcement around School Zones targeting 8am to 9:30am and 2:30pm to 4pm peak times.

Motorists should be aware of hefty fines for offences detected in school zones.

School zones offences attract an increase in the fines and demerit points in an effort to reduce the occurrence of offences and therefore increase the safety of other motorists, pedestrians and school children, in school zones.

Motorists are reminded that the speed limit during school zones is 40kph. Don't use your mobile phone whilst driving and ensure you park legally.

Make sure your children and our children arrive safely to school, hold their hand.

Dangerous driving behaviour around schools puts children at risk.

Motorists should also be aware of the annual increase in fines from the 1st July, 2019
