TAMUK 38. Coordinated and lead the Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering’s faculty team

at TAMUK through Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) EAC accreditation effort (2008-2009). I lead teams from four separate programs through the development and submission of their ABET self-study reports. The programs included Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and each program ended up receiving full 6-year accreditation from ABET in 2010.

39. Coordinated and lead the Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering’s faculty in the Industrial Technology program at TAMUK through the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE – formerly known as NAIT) accreditation effort (oversaw the self-study report development and submission and hosted the site visit by the external review team) (2008-2009). The program received its accreditation in 2010.

40. Supported and enhanced ongoing fund-raising efforts worth over $100,000 for scholarships within TAMUK’s College of Engineering through corporate programs, and through alumni and small business donations (2007-2009).

41. Supported the Vice President for Institutional Advancement’s capital campaign initiatives for the Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering and participated in several fund-raising events (2003 – 2009).

42. Initiated an Environmental Engineering Scholarship program funded by the CITGO Corporation. Raised $20,000 of scholarship support for the Department of Environmental Engineering over a four year period starting in 2000.
