Project Scope Summary:The following is an overview of other Work and is not complete. Contract Documents in their entirety fully describe Work, including items that may only be listed here.1. Demolish existing services as indicated.2. Modify heating water distribution system piping including relocating electric heating boiler and boiler pump.3. Provide 2 rooftop air handlers including structural design, structural reinforcement, roofing, curbs.4. Structural design is delegated to Contractor. Contractor to retain professional engineering.5. Provide fans including return fan, exhaust fan.6. Provide ductwork including diffusers, grilles.7. Provide electrical services as required.8. Provide building automation services including expansion of existing, modification of graphics, sequences, programming, trending.9. Perform air and hydronic testing and balancing.10. Provide fully functional systems that are complete and ready for intended use and effect.
Design Boundaries:1. Existing air distribution, including VAV boxes and diffusers, are being reused except where critical to modify. Site reviews and testing during and after construction may identify some parts that require additional rework

Name of controller and/or interface including equipment, devices. May refer to control system, controller, equipment or other interface. Actual input/output devices for each controller varies. Provide controllers to meet minimum point quantities indicated, with devices as required.

FAIL MODE Indicates the preferred mode of operation upon device failure. The most probable failure (i.e., failed controller, failed relay, cut wire, etc.) should be considered when determining fail logic.
CONTROLLER/INTERFACE Provide controller for each point. This may require providing a new controller, expansion card, or reusing existing points on existing controllers (subject to approval). Includes hardware and software configuration of points and communications. Includes signal conditioning as required.
DEVICE Provide devices. Includes termination, controllers, end devices, termination devices.WIRING AND/OR TUBING Provide electrical wiring and/or fluid tubing to operate device and interface device to controller.
Includes various forms of signal conditioning, including DC power supplies, Class II transformers, transducers, interposing relays.
INTERLOCKS Design and provide required interlocks, safeties, and life safety interfaces. Includes investigation, coordination, wiring, signal conditioning, commissioning.
CALIBRATE Calibrate and test components including controllers, interfaces, signal conditioning, devices, end devices, termination devices. Field work or bench work may be required.
