Based on a versatile fleet of about 1800 appliances with a large operational range, a deep technical know-how obtained over the years and a highly experienced and qualified workforce of approximately 750 employees, LASO became a leading brand in the market of normal and abnormal haulage in Portugal and internationally.
LASO stands out for its focus on the specific needs of its clients, nationally and internationally, finding solutions for every challenge.
“AT YOUR SERVICE WE OVERCOME ANY OBSTACLE.” THIS IS THE ESSENCE OF LASO.
8
Despite its Iberian headquarters, LASO has hundreds of vehicles in service daily across Europe. In order to expand its horizons, LASO has been increasing its international presence through partnerships with prestigious companies in the fields of haulage and lifting, as well as through the multiple projects that it has been conducting, not only in Europe but also in Africa, Asia and Latin America, in countries such as Morocco, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Senegal, Rwanda, United Arab Emirates and Nicaragua.
This is proof that there are no geographical boundaries to LASO.
“WE GO WHERE OUR CLIENTS NEED.”

THE COMPANY
10
LASO perceives Quality, Safety, Environment and Social Responsibility as integral elements of its corporate culture, as well as unquestionable means for both continuous improvement of the services provided and clients’ satisfaction. In that direction, LASO defined, documented and implemented an Integrated Management System (SGQSA) in order to create the appropriate framework for continuous improvement of the effectiveness of its processes, in line with the requirements of the reference standards. In November 2015, LASO successfully renewed the certification process of the Quality Management System implemented in the company, which has been recognised by an external entity duly accredited for that purpose (TUV Rheinland). The certification of the Integrated Management System is currently in preparation regarding Quality, Safety and Environment.
Continuous training plans in programme contents such as safety, hygiene, health, accidents at work, occupational risk prevention, manual load handling and approach in case of emergency. Continuous process oriented towards regulation and improvement of the quality of service provision.
