‘MEET THE PROFESSIONALS’ PROJECT
The importance of creativity in the
workplace
We are delighted to launch this Expressive Arts project during Nation-
al Careers Week. Students will have the opportunity to ‘Meet our
Professionals’ through videos on our school website. Here they will learn all about a range of careers from a Royal Ma-
rine to a Costume and Theatre Designer. This project aims to demonstrate the importance of creativity in the workplace
while showcasing how studying a GCSE Arts based subject will prepare them for the world of work. Students in Year 7-9
will be having a lesson exploring creativity and learning about the creative industries when they return to school. This
project will benefit all curriculum areas and contribute to our already Inspiring IAG careers delivery.
