The Photos I Layered

Both photos were scanned from a magazine.

Cutting Out• After deciding which photo I was to use as a background, I then

used the magnetic lasso to cut around the edges of the photo and select the portion of the photo I wanted. After going all the way around the photo I joined the lasso back up until it showed the marching ants. Then I changed the feather to 4, this softened the edges of the photo meaning it would blend in better. I clicked back on to the select tool and moved the cut out image on to my background.

Final Image• After changing

brightness, saturation and contrast on both photos so that they matched, I moved the cut out picture around until I found a suitable place for it.
