Lease Statistics (December 2007) The lease transaction volume in December 2007 is 587.5 billion yen, decreased by 14.4%, compared with the same period of the last year.

With respect to the type of equipment, Information and Communication Equipment (11.9% down) has been decreasing in a row of 7 months since last June, due to that Computer hardware (17.3% down), and Telecommunication Equipment (13.1% down) have been on the decrease. Office Equipment (14.0% down), and Transport Equipment (13.6% down) have been decreasing in a row of 5 months respectively. Factory Equipment (16.4% down) has been on the decrease since last May. Medical Equipment (16.3% down), and Commercial and Service Equipment (23.0% down) have also showed negative growth respectively in a row of 10 months since last March.

The total lease transaction volume in calendar year of 2007 is 7,423.4 billion yen,

decreased by 4.9%, compared with the same period of the last year. Office Equipment (2.2% up), and Construction Equipment (3.1% up) have been on the increase. On the other hand, Information and Communication Equipment (8.2% down), and Commercial and Service Equipment (10.0% down) have been on the decrease in a row of 2 years.
