Music Video Advertising• When advertising our music video I have to be careful not to use unsuitable and offensive content towards

my target audience and other companies.• For example if I use another companies patented logo, I am in violation of the code of compliance unless

they have given me permission and the material is to be used in the context of an advertisement which would be authorised by a third party such as Google Adsence.

• In the department of harm and offence, marketing communications must not contain anything that is likely to cause serious or widespread offence. Particular care must be taken to avoid causing offence on the grounds of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.

ASAThe Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is the self-regulatory organisation (SRO) of the advertising industry in the United Kingdom. Its role is to regulate the content of advertisements, sales promotions and direct marketing in the UK by investigating complaints made about ads, sales promotions or direct marketing, and deciding whether such advertising complies with its advertising standards codes.

Our music video does not breach ASA regulations as I we filmed the content ourselves and we were bestowed permission to use the song on the grounds it be used for educational purposes.

CopyrightCopyright law is a legal concept giving the original creator sole rights to the ownership of the product. Nobody can use a piece of copyright work without permission of the owner. The music video and the content involved, besides the audio track, is solely ours. The music video has unique generated content and ideas that as a group we came up with. We have not copied from other music videos however we used some recent videos to get inspiration for ours.
