Content Standard
1.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to listen and respond appropriately in
formal and informal situations for a variety of purposes.
2.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to demonstrate understanding of a
variety of linear and non-linear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of
strategies to construct meaning.

Objective
By the end of the lesson, pupils will:
(a) talk and descibe about themselves using at least 3 sentences.
(b) listen and follow the 3 simple rules and 4 numeral signals the teacher assign to them.
(c) read 3 paragraphs describing 3 animals and their characteristics with the correct pronunciation,
stress and intonation.
