except the third Wednesday of the month

Family members are WELCOME to sign up as a
volunteer and assist with outings and activities.

While visiting residents at
CCMCF, Lynn heard of the
need for a Bingo caller and
figured he was out here
visiting anyway, so why not!
Lynn has been helping out
every Monday and Thursday
for a few years now on Maple
Grove. The residents and staff
feel grateful to have Lynn’s help!
Lynn and his late wife had two boys and two girls. They
also have eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-
grandchildren. Everyone lives out of state. In Lynn’s free
time he enjoys mowing the grass, attending to the
flowers and the weeds, and puttering around.
Lynn worked at Battle Creek Enquirer and News for twen-
ty-one years, and then went to work for GM in Kalamazoo
for twenty-six years, and retired. Lynn and his wife
volunteered for
S.O.W.E.R.S., helping in
the youth camp during the
off season. Lynn shared
that he tries to live by the
Golden Rule.

Resident Council Recap & Reminders CULINARY: We will be hosting a special Sunday Brunch on Sunday, September 15th. You must to RSVP at the front desk if you want to attend this event. The cost for guest meals is $10 and guests must also RSVP.
FACILITY OPERATIONS: ABC and NBC are currently out of service due to Direct TV negotiations with these networks. Hopefully Direct TV will reach an agreement with these networks soon.
NURSING: We have hired a few new nurses. Please help them feel welcome!
LIFE ENRICHMENT: Please see Life Enrichment Staff if you need any assistance with voting. The Community Center floors are going to be waxed on Thursday, September 26th and Friday, September 27th, so the Community Center will be closed on those days.
