Direct

CEAG The Early Days

In 1912 the Home Office, anxious to discover a Lamp

which would conform to all safety and performance

requirements, inaugurated an International

Competition offering prizes to the value of £1000 for

the best lamps submitted, the first prize being £600.

200 lamps of various designs and manufacture were

submitted. The "CEAG" Electric Lamp was declared

the winner and described at the time as the “safest

mining lamp in the world”. By 1919, over 500,000

CEAG lamps were supplied to 300 installations.

Although the origins of the company are steeped in

mining, the continuous development of new,

innovative products saw the business diversify into

further industry sectors. This included military, marine,

railways and aerospace. During the 1940s, the

automotive sector became one of CEAG's biggest

sales areas and “Lumax” became a trusted global

brand that would dominate this particular sector for

many years.

CEAG Today

In 2006, the business moved to brand new premises and continued to

service its existing clients, whilst developing and growing further into

global markets. The company has established itself as a trusted

supplier to many national and international companies.

CEAG exports products around the world to over thirty countries. Our

customers range from small, medium sized companies and public

sector organisations, to large businesses, huge corporations and

globally recognised brands.

CEAG offers a comprehensive range of commercial, industrial, marine,

public space, highways and hazardous area electrical equipment and

Product Details

The explosion-protected ExLin series of luminaires is the first explosion-protected series of LED linear luminaires in a modular plastic design. This

installation-friendly series of luminaires is efficient, easy to maintain, versatile and robust and, as such, the ideal solution for lighting tasks within

harsh and hazardous environment.

The design and approvals of the luminaires allow their use in hazardous areas in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. Thanks to the generously dimensioned and

easily accessible terminal compartment, connection is easy.

Features:

Modular design with 4 different types of luminaires, 3 different optics and 4 different covers in one enclosure.

Easy maintenance - the modules are simply plugged into the enclosure so they are easy to maintain and change. Easily accessible ballast.

Long service life - 100,000 hours at +25 °C, with specially designed cooling elements to ensure the dissipation of heat away from the LEDs -

enhancing service life and giving a higher luminous efficiency.

Suitable for use in Zones 1, 2 & 21, 22.

CEAG eLLK/M 92 LED Retrofit Module

ProductDescription

Linear light fitting LED-module for retrofitting into existing light fittings.

Features:

The revolutionary LED module fits into the eLLK/M linear light fitting series. They have an extended temperature

range from -25 °C to +55 °C. The new eLLK-2/4-C/W LED module can be used for converting existing eLLK/M 92

light fittings with fluorescent lamps and an electronic ballast (EVG 09) into LED linear light fittings in just a few

simple steps.

Environmentally friendly.

Shock and vibration resistant.

Immediate start, instant full illumination.

No lifetime reduction due to switching cycles.

20% energy savings compared to fluorescent lamps.

Its clever design means it can be retro-fitted into an existing traditional fluorescent, converting it to a more energy
