Race and Ethnicity 91% of LUSD learners are Hispanic/Latino. 6% are White
English Learners 50% of LUSD learners are English Learners. This percentage is higher at the elementary level than the secondary level (e.g., 33% of LHS learners are English Learners)
Parent Education Levels44% of LUSD learners are from a home where the parent (or both parents) did not graduate from high school. 16% of learners are from a home where the highest level of parent education is a 4-year college degree.

How do we design our system
to realize our vision?Learning: Learners are met at their developmental learning level, they are challenged, they are successful, and they leave school wanting to return.
Curriculum: Each level of learning is written in learning outcomes format that clearly show what learners must be able to do to show mastery.
Instruction: Lindsay customizes learning to the individual learner, grade levels have been eliminated.
