What is Point to Multi-Point , PMP?
PMP is a wireless access solution used to connect hundreds of end customers with different service requirements to a central location.
PMP is viewed as an evolution of low capacity PTP radio systems.
10Km Radius (3.5 and 10.5GHz, depending on rain zone)3-4Km Radius (26GHz)

Why Point to Multi-Point, PMP?
Cost Effective
Fast Deployment
High spectral
efficiency
Concentration On Air
Multiple Services
Reliance Infocomm 5
Limitations
• System requires clear line of site ( LOS ) between CPE and Base station
•LMDS signals are affected by “ Rain Fade” disruptions of signals as a result of heavy rain in 10.5 GHz and higher frequency band.
• Arial distance limitation

Increased Capacity Feature
Each TS uses a different carrier of 1.75 MHz ,each one provides 4Mbps (2E1),the overall capacity of this product will be 8 Mbps.
The maximum distance range allowed with this new TS is:
10.5 GHz distance range 0.7Km to 4 Km (75m – 700m with short range terminal)
Reliance Infocomm 22
Short Range Terminal
•Short Range Terminals are used in any case that the distance between the BS and the TS is less than 700 meters in 10.5 GHz.
•Those terminals are manufactured and calibrated taking into account the shorter range from the Base Station and the higher power received by the TS.
•WALKair software V5.0 and up fully supports the Short Range Terminal installation.
