    Be Prepared!!! Hurricane season begins June 1st

    Start stocking up on emergency supplies: water, food, protective clothing medications, batteries, flashlights, important

    documents (put them inside something waterproof), and a full tank of gasoline.

    • Have an emergency plan

    • Sign up for emergency alerts

    ready.gov/prepare

    • Stock up on supplies (3 days)

    Plan for 1 gallon of water per person

    Canned goods, fruits & vegetables

    Get a manual can opener

    Propane to cook, grill

    • Test your generator & buy extra gas cans for gasoline (if you have one)

    • Out-of-town contact

    • Follow emergency instructions

    • Have an evacuation route

    • Protect important documents

    Identification; medical; financial; family records; insurance policies; other valuables

    Flags With Pride Across Klein

    This is a community project going into its

    14th year to be distributed throughout the

    Klein community.

    The Klein Oak Choir handles our neighbor-

    hood along with about 2,000 other flags in

    several neighborhoods. This has to be one of

    the ”easiest” fundraiser.

    Seven holidays, $40 and you don’t have to do

    anything but check out your flags when they

    show up. See attached form for more details.

    There is the added option to go online and

    set up your house.

    Londonderry Board Meeting Minutes – May 2018 8331 London Way Dr. Spring, TX 77389

    May 15, 2018 Board Members Present: TC Munoz, Dave Rush, Cheryl Thomas, Matt Crager, Ren Simoneaux, Maria Shaver; Jeremy Youngblood – AB-SENT Homeowners Present: Carl and Gail Bradley, Cindy & Megan (Children’s committee), Roberto Falero Proceedings

    • Sound off 7:00pm

    Homeowners provided video of their rear neighbor operating their wood working business outside of their garage which produces extremely loud noises all day. Dave pointed out that the by-laws state that noises like this are not acceptable or conducive to the optimal environment. He will explore lettering the home owner and renter regarding the noise.

    • Board Meeting called to order 7:15pm

    • Last month meeting minutes reviewed, read & APPROVED. Treasurer’s Report

    • Treasury report was provided prior to the meeting via email by Maria and reviewed. Motion to approve an additional $2,000 budget to the Children’s Committee, APPROVED.

    ACC & Deeds Restrictions Committee

    • Jeremy Youngblood will be stepping down from the BOD and both Restrictions Committees. Replacement candidates will be re-viewed during executive session later in the meeting. TC & Cheryl to take on ACC requests in interim of replacement.

    • Letters going out and business as usual.

    • Motion to allow a case by case basis approach to homeowners requesting a fence taller than 8 feet, APPROVED.

    • Homeowner approached the BOD regarding his illegal shed structure. The BOD advised him that if he can have his neighbor agree to raise their and his fence to the approved 8ft maximum, the shed can stay in its place. Dave requested the approval from the neighbor must be provided in writing.

    Clubhouse

    • Security lighting and cameras, Cheryl still waiting for bids on labor and material broken out.

    • Board has decided not to use the Board Room for additional storage space and will instead clean out the existing shed behind the clubhouse.

    • Roofing company to come investigate the possible leak in roof. Old Business

    • Matt will provide Cheryl with the contact info for CenterPoint Energy so that she may follow-up on LED lighting for the street lighting in the subdivision.

    • YOTM sign, Cheryl is working on this and will provide an update at next month’s meeting.

    • Office/Computer – TC will bring documentation to next month’s meeting.

    • Marquee sign to be installed on May 20th .

    • Monument sign painting and landscape improvements to front entrance will not be performed until the electrician has come and installed for lighting.

    • TC and Dave both presented a separate bid for the tree clean-up work. One was $1,000 less than the other. BOD to discuss in executive session.

    • Matt to finalize bid on front entrance with Noack.

    LHOA wants to plan some Adult Activities in

    2018!!

    Contact a board member if you are interested or

    have any ideas on adult activities that we can or-

    ganize for Londonderry!!

    Possibly organize a fun game night! Dominos,

    cards, board games, whatever you want to plan!!

    New Business

    • Motion to purchase a 150 ft water hose for the pool area, straps for backboards, hooks for pool cleaning equipment, APPROVED.

    • Mildew and non-operating toilets in the outdoor and clubhouse women’s restrooms to be taken care of before next BOD meeting.

    • Cheryl is continuing to send out emails to the residents outlining the pool band distribution schedule. Motion to allow residents until June 8th to pay their HOA dues before access to the pool will not be granted without pool band, APPROVED.

    • Cheryl would like the BOD to consider changing the pool hours to close at 8PM rather than the current 9PM close time for life-guard and resident safety. Tabled until later date, will not take affect this pool season.

    General Discussion & Additional Business

    • Lost & Found – Cheryl has developed a form that people must fill out to retrieve any items from the lost & found due to past expe-riences of people taking things from the lost & found that didn’t originally belong to them.

    Executive Session began at 9:05PM

    • Approved the lesser of the two tree removal and clubhouse area landscape contracts. TC will notify the company which is owned by a Londonderry resident to commence work.

    • Discussed several candidates to take the vacated position on the BOD. Dave will reach out to the candidate we would like to move forward with and discuss. Further discussion and possible action will be taken at next month’s meeting.

    • Maria would like to place a lien on homes with outstanding dues/Deed Restriction violations that are over 1 year delinquent, list provided and APPROVED.
