CELEBRATING STUDENT SUCCESS AND BUILDING HEALTHY FUTURES

For nearly 39 years, the Lower Columbia College Foundation has served as the critical link between the community and the college in advancing its mission “to provide financial assistance to students, to encourage public support for the college, and to strengthen the teaching, learning and cultural environment of the college and the community.”

Student achievement and student success are authentic goals we celebrate at Lower Columbia College.

Last month, LCC was named the 22nd Best Community College in the United States! This institution has received national recognition by the White House and the College Spark Foundation; and we’ve earned the distinction of “national leader college” for our efforts in student success, retention and completion.

We are so proud of our amazing college – our faculty, staff, and students are truly outstanding!

At the heart of all we do, the primary focus of the LCC Foundation’s Building Healthy Futures campaign is Student Success. We are all doing our part to ensure students have access to quality programs that are affordable, and have the support they need to be successful in completing their educational goals.

We are so proud of our amazing community – our friends, neighbors, and partners are also truly outstanding!

As we continue to build on this strong foundation of community support, we thank those who have invested so fully. It is because of them that opportunities are made available for so many students as they work to achieve their higher education goals. We are so grateful.

For the students who will benefit from the gift of a scholarship, please remember this moment. Look around you and realize that someone in your community invested in you! Someone in your community supported you on this journey. What a gift! Perhaps someday, you’ll be able to do the same and invest in someone else’s bright future.

Thank you from all of us at Lower Columbia College!
