Why Validate:
9 MedicAlert® Medical ID’s are an internationally recognised information device for emergency medical risk mitigation and prevention of avoidable harm.
9 MedicAlert® can access and supply vital health information stored overseas.
9 The individual may require a Priority 1 Ambulance Dispatch – Never assume ‘fainting’ or ‘harmless unconsciousness’.
9 Validation activates support services such as immediate identification of the individual, a key support person or their NHI.
9 Additional information may have been added on file, which must be known to protect the individuals health and safety.
9 The individual may have medical risks you need to know about to protect your own safety.
9 The wearer expects MedicAlert® ID validation in accordance with their Health Service Consumer Rights (HDC Act 1993).
9 The Operator will only provide information over the phone that is necessary for the protection of health, welfare and safety.
What if we have an earthquake and power, computer or phones are out?
9 MedicAlert® still works, everything on the MedicAlert® ID was clinically validated before it was engraved.
