9 Organizational Chart A well laid down Organization Chart is drawn up. The duties and responsibilities for all cadres are clearly defined. Due delegation with responsibility and accountability is also well drawn up. This hierarchical transparency smoothens the administrative process.

The Institute has an administrative office with a team of staff. The functioning of the office is very transparent and students are well informed about the functioning and services of the administrative office.

10 Student feedback mechanism on Institutional Governance/faculty performance

Students evaluation on Faculty Performance: The Institution follows evaluation of faculty members by students. The appraisal reports are scrutinized by the heads of the department and the Principal to enhance the quality of teaching methods. Students’ evaluation on Campus Governance: This Institution has the healthy practice of collecting students’ evaluation on campus experience and used it for improvement. Action has been initiated on the students’ evaluation. Review of action taken report is monitored regularly. Action taken on above feed back: The Institution has initiated action on the evaluation / feed back received from Faculty as well as students.

11 Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students

Students Grievance Redressal Cell

A mechanism for the redressal of the students’ grievances is now functioning in the college. Grievances related to academic activities and other allied non academic matters will be sorted out at the primary level by the staff advisers/tutors. Grievances pertaining to academic matters will be taken up by the faculty member concerned. Grievances if any will be further heard by the respective Head of the Department. At the appellate level, all the unresolved issues will be redressed by the Principal.

Functions:

To attend to the general grievances of the students, public related to the college, staff and suggest redressal measures

To ensure equal justice to women students and staff

To enquire into the special grievances of women students and staff

To consider special facilities required

To analyze the problems and find out suitable solutions.

To suggest remedial measures to the college management to solve the problems.

To ensure an overall disciplined and respectful environment in the college premises.

Our faculty members have access to students. Usually students express their problems/Grievances orally and the management responds immediately as such no proper record is maintained. However, a complaint box was put up and complaints are being scrutinized periodically.

The grievances of the faculty members of various departments will be resolved at the primary level by a committee consisting of the Head and the next senior most member of the Department concerned.

The Institution has the following professional membership: • COA • NATA INDUSTRY LINKAGES For all the department, Industry Interaction is the key and linkage with Industry gives the students an exposure they require in getting themselves ready to face industry. The activities throughout the academic year in this regard include Guest Lectures, Seminars, Work Shops, Panel Discussions, Training Programmes, Corporate Exposure Learning, Dissertation Project, Campus Recruitment Programmes etc., with the support of the Industry. LINKAGES WITH THE COMMUNITY The college has fostered a cordial relationship with the Teaching and Academic community in various Institutes of repute. These experts participate in panel discussions on the current topics related to the various departments and give inputs to incorporate additional modules in the curriculum to help students face industries in an effective manner. In this direction the college also fostering relationship with the general community on a larger platform by organizing blood donation camps, encouraging students to participate in adult literacy programmes, social awareness about health, hygiene, and safety in the surrounding villages.
