Lose yourself in the web of narrow

streets of the Historic A

rea of Cudillero. W

e suggest three tours that make up the R

oute of the V

iewpoints. D

o not forget your camera.

The late G

othic style parish church of San Pedro is from the sixteenth century, and has num

erous Baroque carvings inside. It was

funded by the Fisherman’s G

uild.

The G

othic style 13th century Chapel of the H

umilladero is the oldest building in the tow

n. It receives this name because the prisoners

were taken there before being punished.

In the afternoons, on weekdays, you can go to the fishing port to see the fishing fleet returning and unloading fresh fish. T

he boats usually arrive from

14:00 to 19:00.

An underground tunnel crosses C

udillero from the fishing port to the surroundings of the H

umilladero chapel. A

journey of 450 meters

long along the river Piñera.

Stroll through the old port to the Punta Rebollera, w

here the lighthouse is located, which offers incredible panoram

ic views.

Enjoy the authentic local pixueta (Cudillero) gastronom

y. Freshly caught fish and shellfish are the star dishes. Also highly recom

mended are

Asturian vegetables and local veal. You can also try the local dish called curadillo (a stew

of sun-dried shark fish) or buchos (hake tripe)..
