CLEAN DRINKING WATER IN PAKISTAN This week we focus our prayers, fasting and almsgiving on Pakistan, where the poor often do not have access to clean water. CRS helps communities build water pumps so they can have clean water nearby for use at home and on their farms. This week, consider fasting from all beverages except for water, and donate what you saved to your Rice Bowl. We will collect rice bowls this week and next.

Mr. Peter Harding as Director of Housing will identify opportunities to repurpose vacant or underused diocesan buildings, such as schools, to help the homeless. Bishop Cote described the mission as "Our needing to find ways to put these assets to good use for those most in need."

Remember the needy in our community. Food is collected all year, not just at the holidays. Please bring non-perishable foods to the church for distribution.

Our PRAYER SHAWL group makes baby blankets for BIRTHRIGHT of Windham and Prayer Shawls. It is a very special ministry knowing that with our shawl or baby blanket goes our prayers and a Blessing to someone who truly needs a touch from God. We provide the

Birthright of Windham: Your donations provide a witness to our Catholic faith and our commitment to
