Hyderabad is the capital of southern India's Telangana state. A major center for thetechnology industry, it's home to many upscale restaurants and shops. Its historic sitesinclude Golconda Fort, a former diamond-trading center that was once the Qutb Shahidynastic capital. The Charminar, a 16th-century mosque whose 4 arches supporttowering minarets, is an old city landmark near the long-standing Laad Bazaar.

The Charminar, constructed in 1591, is a monument and mosque located inHyderabad, Telangana, India. The landmark has become known globally as asymbol of Hyderabad and is listed among the most recognized structures in India.
Hussain Sagar is a necklace-shaped lake in Hyderabad built by Ibrahim Quli QutbShah, and named after Hussain Shah Wali. It is spread across an area of 5.7 squarekilometers and is fed by River Musi. A large monolithic statue of the GautamaBuddha, erected in 1992, stands on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of the lake

ABOUT THE MECHANICAL DEPARTMENT
The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in theyear 2009 starting from the inception of the college offering fouryears full time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Twoyears Masters Degree in Thermal Engineering. The Department ofMechanical Engineering functions with the prime goal of impartingthe sound mechanical engineering education, advance theunderstanding and application of mechanical engineering principles,enhance the development of the Nation, and improve the quality oflife of society through teaching, research, and outreach programs.The Department is accredited by NBA (National Board ofAccreditation). The Department has highly qualified and dedicatedfaculty members and good ambience for research in the areas ofAlternative fuels, Surface Engineering, Tribology, CompositeMaterials and CAD/CAM/CAE. The Department has conducted manyguest lectures, workshops, faculty development programs, short termtraining courses besides undertaking funded projects from varioussectors.
The First International conference on Advanced Lightweight Materials and Structures(ICALMS-2020) aims to bring together academicians, leading scientists, Industrialists,researchers and students, in a common forum to share their experiences and researchresults on all aspects of advanced light-weight materials, structures and its variousapplications. The conference theme for the ICALMS 2020 is “Innovations & FutureTrends in the era of advanced composites”, with the objective of exploring the latestresearch into composite materials and how they will be used in the future coveringmultiple applications including aerospace, construction, wind energy, automotive,electronics and so on. Leading experts from India and abroad would be sharing theirexperience and expectations in this conference.
