Markaz Ahlus Sunnah Waljama'ah Okene, Kogi state Nigeria September 27, 2015 · Biography of Markaz Ahlissunah Waljama’h Markaz Ahlissunah Waljama’h is the center of people that believe in Sunnah and they are gathering upon it. This jamah is like child of necessity. The rising up of them is because they look for people that can do this work but no one in Ebira land in kogi state Nigeria, because it came out of the existing jamah. When the youth (shabab) in early 1970s came up and see that the religion of their father is not exactly the way Allah and His Messenger (SAW) ask us to practices the Deen. They see that what they are using for religion does not exist in the books of Islam. Then they think, As Allah say. Let there be among you that are calling to the right path, that is why in 1978 they stood up and calling people, then they were called “young Muslim brothers” then on 25/8/1979 they lunch it officially and they were called the young Muslim mutamiun as at then the Patrons are Sheik Ahmad Rufai and Imam Musa Kaladimah as at then the patrons were advising people to take their children to young Muslim brothers if they want their children to learn. As at then the leader was been zone four, four years each, when one of the leader called Tijani Kataba finished his leadership tenure and it is time for him to zone it, the problem of leadership start and bring disunity among them and the young Muslim that they were known to be before is now “I don’t know u, u don’t know me” as the young Muslim mutamiun still continue. Some of the mallam among them travel in search of knowledge like sheik Ameen, when he came back, the admonition he was given is quite different from the reason why the brothers stood up i.e he was preaching on how to spread suffiizim. As at then some brothers separate themselves from this young Muslim mutamiun to settle mainly in idoji in Okene kogi state and called themselves “Muslim Ummah”. The Muslim Ummah also were going, some of them have harrasal, the leader was mallam Rajji, he emphasize mainly on discipline among the Muslim Ummah and respect for leadership because brothers were doing things without the awareness of the leader, the leader will only get to know when there is problem in what they went out to do. When he finish addressing the indiscipline among the Ummah in 1993, some didn’t agree with what he say, so in that 1993 another division also arise among the Muslim Ummah, instead of one Muslim Ummah, now is two Muslim Ummah, they also prolong the matter which mallam Yakeen Ash-Shiqeetee ibn Abdulqadr and the Sheik Mustapha Idris (may Allah preserve him and hasting his release) and mallam rajji were together. In 1996, mallam rajji try to introduce Taricatul Tijani by saying that he believe that Tijania is the right path so they were thinking that how can they here this out after all this time that they were preaching to people that let us be in the sunnah of our beloved Prophet (SAW). At this juncture in 1996 Markaz Ahlisunna Waljamah now emerges. When Markaz ahlusunna waljamah emerge they have no place to stay, they were doing there da’wah in one secondary school called Abdul-Aziz Atta Memorial College (AAMCO) in Okene until when one of our brother came and told us that his father have an

uncompleted building close to former zango in Okene, we now move there and start our da’wah, though we also face allot of tries because some people will want to take the post of leadership and have the full authority so that they can do whatever they like. But Alhamdulillah that is where we stay till date and we have jamah in other places around Okene like Ajaokuta, Ihima, Ogaminana, Abuja, Kaduna and Minna. May Allah swt guide us to d straight path.
