MEDIA ADVISORY - Evelyn Greenberg
Mazal Tov to Evelyn Greenberg who for over four decades has been bringing her talent as a pianist to retirement homes, hospitals and palliative care facilities, and helping out with community events to benefit young musicians and promote classical music. Most notably, she visits and entertains the elderly residents of Hillel Lodge and the Ottawa Jewish community.
On Wednesday, September 7, 2016, Evelyn received the Governor General's Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers recognizing the remarkable volunteer achievement of Canadians volunteers.

IN THE LOTTNER LIBRARY WITH RABBI KENTER JUST COMMENTARY: A SHABBAT MORNING STUDY SESSION Once a month, join us to look more deeply into the texts that anchor our Shabbat service - the Siddur and the Torah portion. This session is just learning, there will be no prayer service
SEPTEMBER 24 – 10:30 – 11:30 A.M. IN THE CHAPEL WITH RABBI ZUKER ON ONE FOOT: A SHORT SHABBAT SERVICE FEATURING JUST THE GREATEST HITS Once a month, this clergy-led parallel service will offer a condensed version of the Shabbat morning tefilot, including a brief discussion of the weekly Torah portion and a Shabbos Vort (a short sermonette)
