Our exam room systems offer your choices of locked and unlocked storage designed for specialty items, counter heights set at optimal levels and bacterial-resistant solid surfacing with integrated sink bowls.

Make a grand statement with HAMILTON. We often work with clients to pair pieces from our standard line with custom components to build unique reception areas. Using our flexible manufacturing processes, we can design and build dramatic one of a kind reception stations.

This approach also works for specialty needs. The cabinetry in the catheterization lab featured on the cover are standard casework with custom interiors designed to hold various sized catheters.

We offer a wide variety of accessories and detailing that will tailor our casework to your specific requirements. The nurses’ island from a hospital nursery shown here is a good example.

• Our kick plates allow sheet flooring to be applied right to the face creating a smooth cleaning surface and eliminating capillary action where mold and mildew can grow.

• Complex electrical wiring and plumbing are housed in raceways in the island. Clinicians have ready access to electrical outlets and convenient hands-free water.

• Splash guards around the sink prevent spray from getting to other areas of the station.

The FinerPoints

HAMILTON offers a wide range of standard finishes and hardware. We also utilize a wide range of materials specified by designers, such as solid surfacing, stainless steel, veneers, and phenolic worksurfaces. For the hospital pharmacy pictured on the right, we created a space for the staff pharmacists. Each pharmacist has their own area with personal secure storage to perform concentrated work and make phone calls. The cabinetry provided state-of-the-art durability and infection control.

Casework is our area of expertise. We know when new materials hit the market and incorporate them in our manufacturing process. We can help you design work spaces that are comfortable and inspirational.

Flexibility

Although they look like built-ins, every piece of HAMILTON’s modular casework can be moved and repurposed. Major equipment purchases are commonplace in medical applications. Modular casework is designed to accommodate change. For the pick area featured on the left, a new carousel will only require a minor reconfiguration with the addition of a few discrete components.

The Manhattan patient therapy room, pictured at right, was built to facilitate wheel chair use. We are proud of the durability of our casework. We back it with a lifetime guarantee. But if any damage does occur, individual pieces may be replaced without the need to tear out an entire wall of casework.

In the Manhattan hospital exam room pictured above, we provided both open and locked storage designed specifically for a sports jacket and other items in a compact personal area for physicians. We also provided extra work surface space by incorporating a p-shaped top.

HAMILTON Solutions at WorkA wiring raceway provides electric and Ethernet network cabling along this reception console. Hidden from general view, the raceway is easily accessible to maintenance staff through removable panels.
