Meet My Audience Member – Film Four.This is Texas and she is 19 years old and lives in a small village in London.

Her mum and dad are both British and so is Texas and her siblings. She loves

to shop at retro shops and the reason she does is because she loves trying

different things including clothes. Places that she loves to shop at the most

are Top Shop, Republic but mostly she tries to find the smaller brand shops

to shop at. Music has always been a big part of Texas as she loves listening

to old music and bands that aren't so out in the open. Her favourite bands

and singers at the moment are ‘Two Door Cinema Club’ and her favourite

song of theirs is ‘What You Know’. She also loves ‘Mumford and Sons’ and

she loves their song ‘Little Lion Man’.

Her favourite TV shows are ‘Misfits’ and ‘Skins’ and the reason she likes

these shows is because they are about people her age and they are also

British, so through personality she can relate to them well. Texas loves

‘Shaun of the Dead’ as it is one of her favourite gory British film. She also

likes ‘Nowhere Boy’ as her parents were big fans of John Lennon and as she

grew up she too took interest in listening to The Beatles. She mostly buys

music from old record shops or records online, as she loves collecting

records. She votes for the Labour party as they support people that are in

the working class like herself. She currently attends Kingston University in

London and is studying music, as she hopes to become an artist herself one

day. She loves going to the cinema with friends and loves shopping. She is

always attending concerts in London and loves festivals, which she goes to

nearly every year.
