With 11 Butterfly Europa 25 tournament tables, we have plenty of room for you to do either - have serious fun with friends to music (live on some Saturday nights) or get serious about competition - with classes, clinics and private coaching.

We encourage and coach Olympic style table tennis, the “retro” styles of hardbat and sandpaper, and basement ping pong. We can help you improve whatever style you play, or just give you a place to play at the level you desire.

Drop-ins are welcome! Members and players participating in scheduled programs have table priority. $10 drop-in fee for adults, $5 drop-in fee for college students (with ID), juniors, seniors and players on lunch break between 11am-1pm.

Spin & Smash offers coaching classes several times each week. Private coaching is available upon request.

Dave Fullen is an ITTF Level 2+ certified coach and US Table Tennis Regional coach. He teach-es most of the classes & clinics at Spin & Smash and focuses on developing strong fundamental strokes and footwork. As a student of the game, Dave has studied and competed using various game styles including two winged looper, attacking chopper and pips out hitter.

Dave is also an avid hardbat and sandpaper player, and is the 2015 Arnold Fitness Champi-onship Hardbat champion. As a media devel-oper, Dave produced Dan Seemiller’s Complete Table Tennis DVD.

Improving Your GameSATURDAY NIGHT SOCIALEVERYONE LOVES PING PONGThe idea for a social club night began during a trip to NYC for our son’s graduation from NYU. A visit to SPiN was eye opening. According to their website, ping pong is “... a sport that connects people regardless of age, gender or background. It’s about having fun, not taking life too seriously, making connections and embracing contradictions.” We totally agree. That’s why one Saturday night per month from 7pm to 12am we’ll be playing, enjoying good music, having contests - you name it, we’ll do it. We’ll supply the blades (or you can) and the balls. Here’s how it works: Drop in and play! Adults $10, kids $5. If you have three or more in your party, it might be cheaper to pay $25 for a table.
