Day 1 (5-5-2014): I left from Bhara Kaho Islamabad at 10:00 a.m
for Mianwali and reached there
at 3:00 p.m. Afterwards, I met there with Mr. Malik Aamir
(Supervisor Mianwali Education Trust
College). He arranged my accommodation at Shehbaz hotel in
Mianwali. It was very much
comfortable environment over there.
Day 2 (6-5-2014): I reached at 9.30 a.m at Mianwali Education
Trust College . There I met with
Principal Pro: Ghulam Farooqu Niazi. We discussed about the
project: MET. Then I met with the
administration in charge Miawali Education Trust College Mrs.
Bushra in charge Administer
Mianwali Education Trust College. At hereafter, I visited class
rooms, playground, library, computer
lab. The condition of the classroom was in a better condition as
electricity, fans and color was in a
suitable condition. I asked few questions her about Agha Khan
Board .Like Meet claimed that they
would get a lot of college students because they switch their
board exam from Agha Khan to
Sarghoda. Therefore, which board students and families prefer?
The principal and Administer
replied and indicated three problems from parents side
1. Parents prefer Sarghoda board on Agha Khan Board as the
former award more score then
the latter.
2. Social issue: Parents prefer Sarghoda board as they don-not
endorse co-education.
3. Parent’s perception regarding Agha Khan Board is that the
students who seek education
from this board are that the government institutes do not prefer
Agha Khan Board students.
My second question was: How many classrooms are there in your
college and what are your future
plans for new classrooms?
Mrs. Bushra (In charge administrator ) replied that they have
requested to build additional rooms
was to increase number of college students and at the time of
our request there were 52 students
by the end of the year we have 64 total students . She said in
future same classes will be
accommodated in new rooms.
I asked another question that do they expect college environment
to increase. Principal and in
chrage administrator replied consensually that we are expecting
more admissions in this august
because this would be our first batch (present X1 and X11) to
appear from Sarghodha Board. They
further explained that that’s true that we claim to get a lot of
college students after switching over
to Sarghodha board. We will be having our first result this year
and still hope to get good number of
students.
Will the rooms be used for college students?
They answered that right now new classes are being used for play
group, pre-school (prep jr.)
classes for being new and cool rooms.
Do they have a strategy to increase college enrollment?
They replied we still expect increase in enrollment in college
section. I was having photo session
with teachers and students.
They said that they would educate parents and their children
regarding Agha Khan Board. We will
start promotion Agha Khan Board to parent’s behalf of Mianwali
Education Trust College. The
teachers were highly qualified to Master level and I held
meeting with them and disuse about Agha
Khan Board syllabus and I asked them are they comfortable with
that syllabus. They said that
syllabus is full of knowledgeable and easy to deliver and is
interesting while teaching students.Few
teachers said that parents are very much confused about the
syllabus of Agha Khan board. I again
asked the question top level manage how do you solve and brief
to parents about Agha Khan Board,
The top management assured that they will clear all the
misunderstandings about the Agha Khan
Board syllabus and will tell prospects the bright future
associated with the Board. Dwellers of the
Mianwali city said that Mianwali College is famous in top
quality education. I observed Mianwali
Education Trust College safety system for the children college
is also having two high-roofs. There
was robust security system in the college.
